Iftikhar Chaudhry returns to his post at the Supreme Court to jubilant scenes more than a year after his sacking by Pervez Musharraf. Chaudhry was reinstated last week by President Asif Ali Zardari to end a political crisis and street agitation that threatened to destabilize his government.
