Beijing's Zoo, like many of China's tourist attractions, is being revamped to show the country's remarkable development to the millions of tourists expected to visit the city while it hosts the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. But animal welfare activists criticize it as an attempt to cover over widespread animal abuse, in a country with no laws to prevent cruelty against animals. Voiced report.
