No more N Korea nuke tests - China

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il told visiting Chinese envoy Tang Jiaxuan that Pyongyang planned to conduct no further nuclear tests. The comments were carried by South Korea's news agency, quoting a diplomatic source in China. If confirmed, it would be the first real step toward defusing tensions which have soared in the Korean Peninsula since the reclusive Stalinist state tested a small nuclear bomb on October 9th.
