Suspended in size and time
January 05, 2007
The parents of nine-year-old Ashley have intentionally stunted her growth to keep her from reaching adult size. The girl suffers from the rare brain disease static encephalopathy. She will never develop past the skills of a three-month-old baby. The medical treatments used to keep her small started with she was six-years-old.
