Budapest welcomes huge water park
December 11, 2008
A Hungarian hotel is hoping Central Europe's biggest indoor water park will help it fight the financial crisis. Aquaworld has just opened in the capital Budapest. It features a 72 metre wide central dome stretching across 17 pools of different styles. There are 11 water slides, a surfing pool and a labyrinth of interconnected suspension bridges, along with towers, rest areas, and a huge wave pool. It's attached to a four-star hotel and cost 17 billion Hungarian forints (about 65 million euros).
