LOS OLIVOS, CALIFORNIA - The gates to Neverland ranch are up for sale among other Michael Jackson treasures. A newly announced auction of Michael Jackson's personal memorabilia is to be held in Beverly Hills next April, described as a five-day "Once in a lifetime event" at which the lots include his iconic rhinestone-encrusted white glove and the very gates to Neverland itself. The auctioneers website describes the items as, "An array of treasures from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch ranging from Michael Jackson's iconic white-jeweled glove to the grandiose entry gates to Neverland Ranch" are up for sale in a tour de force auction boasting more than 2,000 items in a live auction conducted by Julien's Auctions. Catalogues are already being offered on the site at $100 each or limited signed copies can be had for a mere $500 each. Jackson himself once described the feeling one gets upon entering Neverland "It's like stepping into Oz, Once you come inside the gates, the outside world does not exist." The ranch is packed with roller coasters, locomotives, sculptures, a Ferris wheel and even once had a zoo with exotic animals but fell into disrepair after Jackson was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005. He has also struggled to pay his debts in recent years, resulting in the financial difficulties with Neverland Ranch.
