Gaza: "Stop fighting now" says UN

UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon is touring the Middle East in an attempt to secure an end to the Gaza conflict. Ban has met Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak. He will also go to Israel, Jordan and Syria. Israeli troops edged closer to the heart of Gaza City on Wednesday morning - the 19th day of the assault. The Palestinian death toll has now risen to at least 971. 13 Israelis have been killed.
