The often-shirtless actor purchased a home that was not even on the market for 10 million dollars, the Los Angeles Times is reported back in November of 2007 that McConaughey apparently hammered out a deal with the owner after he personally knocked on the door of a house that he wanted to buy. Built in 1949, the home has just under 4,000 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three baths, on slightly more than an acre of land. Although the homes is not directly on the ocean, it is just a few lots away from it and within a two minute walk to a private beach where the actor spends many a day surfing.
