Virginia Sugar House Fires Up for the Season

In the Allegheny Mountains of Virginia, the temperatures can get cold in winter - cold enough to produce maple syrup, a tasty treat usually exclusive to the frigid winters of Canada and New England. Ivan and Sis Puffenbarger take advantage of the brief season to make syrup from the maple trees on their property.
