Asian Longhorn Beetle, ALB, has been discovered in the United States. The beetles tunnel into trees attacking and eventually killing the tree. The beetle is a serious pest and it has killed thousand of trees in China. Here in the United States the beetle favors maple species including boxelder, Norway, red, silver and sugar maples.
