Robbery Suspect on the Loose on Northwest Side

Members of an FBI Violent Crimes Task Force and local police were conducting surveillance on a reputed robbery ring in the area of Montrose Avenue and Forest Preserve Drive. The shooting took place a little before 7:00 AM Wednesday morning. Police K-9 units are assisting in the search of a nearby golf course and elementary school for the missing suspect.
