The trial of Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi went behind closed doors again Thursday, following a surprise one-day session which diplomats and journalists were allowed to attend. During Wednesday's session, Aung San Suu Kyi smiled to the diplomats, thanked them for coming and expressed hope of meeting again in "better days." The 63-year-old, who has spent 13 of the past 19 years in detention, faces up to five years in jail if convicted of charges of breaching the conditions of her house arrest.
