Sex change ban lifted in Cuba

It's something that hasn't been done on this island in more than 20 years, when it happened only once and elicited a major scandal. But today, sex changes are again available in Cuba. President Raul Castro's daughter Mariela, who is head of the country's National Center for Sexual Education, has spearheaded the fight in a country well-known for its machismo.
