Intense flooding in Peru

Tens of thousands of people in Peru and Brazil have been forced from their homes as intense floodwaters drown parts of the country. Death toll in Brazil rises to 50 and more than 16,000 are left homeless following heavy rain and mudslides, with more rain forecast. Meanwhile, in Peru, more than 30,000 have been affected by severe flooding.
