Preventing Weeds In A Vegetable Garden

Using a weed barrier is a great way to grow vegetables and prevent weeds at the same time. I like to use the weed barrier for larger crops that I have started inside. I prefer to plant seeds directly in the ground and not use the barrier because I am constantly moving crops during the year. Some research has shown that red mulch works better with tomatoes.
