Ovation for Christian Lacroix at haute couture show

French fashion designer Christian Lacroix was given a standing ovation at the end of his haute couture show on Tuesday by a tearful audience, aware that it might be his last, since the house went into administration in June. The collection for next winter was half the usual length and sombre, dominated by black and inky blue rather than his signature flamboyant Provencal palette. Images of the show.
