Iceland whale kill for food

Fin whales are on the so-called "Red List" of endangered species compiled by the World Conservation Union but Iceland says there are now plenty of them in the north Atlantic. The first fin whale has been harpooned only days after Reykjavik announced it would resume commercial whaling. It joins Norway in defying the ban and could become the target of a legal challenge by anti-whaling activists.
