Dad: No idea Madonna would adopt

Yohane Banda says Madonna asked that she be able to raise his one-year-old son David on his behalf, rather than having the child become her own. Banda's statement is a major shift from his remarks last week when he railed against human rights groups that have gone to court to stop Madonna from adopting David.
