SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA - Former American Idol contestant, Katrina Darrell and a friend frolic in the surf. Darrell, also known as Bikini Girl, made a name for herself when she auditioned for American Idol wearing nothing but a skimpy bikini. Bikini Girl was a favorite among Idol judges Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson and was invited back but eventually voted off before reaching the top ten. Darrell and a friend stunned onlookers when they turned up to the beach wearing nothing but sexy bikinis and high heels, they then stopped off at the Santa Monica Pier for a bite to eat. (July 21)
