U.S - Russia tensions pre-G8

U.S. President George W. Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin are engaged in a war of words over Bush's plans to build a missile defence shield in Europe. German Chancellor Angela Merkel among others will be hoping this disagreement doesn't overshadow the other topics on the agenda at the summit, including discussions on tackling climate change.
