FairPoint In Talks With Lenders

Local phone carrier FairPoint Communications (FRP) is in talks with lenders to restructure some of its debt, the company said Monday. FairPoint said it has entered into a forbearance agreement with its lenders collectively holding more than 50 percent of the loans and commitments outstanding under its credit facility.
