Nintendo Slashes Wii Prices; MSFT Says No EA Acquisition Ahead

Nintendo (NTDOY) said Thursday it is cutting the price of its Wii game consoles by about $50, to $199.99 beginning Sunday. Nintendo thinks the lower price could enhance its appeal to 50 million Americans.
