Trendy, thrify and Japanese, Uniqlo is taking its brand appeal abroad, opening flagship mega-stores which aim to compete with Gap, H & M and Zara for fashionistas' favour. This week it added Paris to its list of capitals, with an enormous space in the heart of the fashion hub.
