Zumiez, Hot Topic Stocks Rise on Better-Than-Expected Sales

Both Zumiez and Hot Topic stocks are trending higher in the premarket Thursday after both retailers releases sales results late Wednesday that bested analyst forecasts. Zumiez said same store sales fell by a better than expected 0.8 percent for September, potentially due to a late Labor day holiday and the resulting elongated back to school shopping period.
