Glaxo to Pay $2.5 Million in Birth Defect Settlement

GlaxoSmithKline was ordered to pay $2.5 million to settle the claim that a Pennsylvania boy suffered heart defects as a result of its antidepressant Paxil. The boy's mother took Paxil while she was pregnant, and he suffered heart defects as a result.
