DSW, Linktone Among Thursday's Big Gainers; DSW Raises Guidance, Linktone Inks Deal

Footwear retailer DSW (DSW) surprised investors Thursday, announcing estimates comparable store sales of approximately positive 6% to 8% for the quarter ended October 31. DSW also said store traffic has increased since the end of the second quarter, and boosted its earnings per share guidance for its fiscal 2009 year to between 70 and 80 cents.
