October Same-Store Sales Show Increasing Strength in Retail

Retailers are out with their October same store sales figures today, and the story they tell is largely one of increasing strength in the sector. First, lets take a look at the mall: Gaps (GPS) same store sales rose 4 percent, while Aeropostales (ARO) October same store sales rose 3 percent, and American Eagle (AEO) saw a decline of 5 percent.
