This morning, Lazard downgraded shares of Brocade (BRCD) from Buy to Hold as the buyout potential for the company has diminished since 3Com agreed to be acquired by Hewlett-Packard. It was originally thought that Brocade would be a buyout target for HP, but with last night's announcement, a takeover seems less likely.
