Bush orders more troops for Iraq

President Bush called for more than 20,000 new troops for Iraq as part of his revised war strategy. Bush's admission of error was a rare acknowledgment of a mistake by this president. He said his military commanders had reviewed the new plan and assured him it would address the problems.
