Sarkozy aims for big majority in parliamentary vote

A month after France's hard-fought presidential race, voters return to the polls this weekend for the first round of parliamentary elections. President Nicolas Sarkozy has called on France to rally around his right-wing UMP party in hopes he will have a resounding majority in the National Assembly which will allow him to push through reforms.
