'Dictator' opens London film gala

London's 50th annual Film Festival has opened with the premiere of Kevin Macdonald's Idi Amin drama 'The Last King of Scotland', with Forest Whitaker playing the Ugandan leader. The film is based on the events of the brutal Ugandan dictator Idi Amin's regime as seen by his personal physician during the 1970s. he seized power in a military coup in 1971.
