Quincy Teachers Union Facing $150,000 Court Fine
June 13, 2007
(Boston) Quincy teachers walked picket lines today in defiance of a back-to-work order from a Superior Court judge. Classes were canceled for a third school day, delaying final exams for many students. The judge that issued the injunction says the teachers' union will face a 150-thousand dollar fine if teachers don't return to work tomorrow. Bill Shields reports.
