Castro's condition in doubt

Spanish newspaper claims Fidel Castro is gravely ill, but his doctor says the Cuban leader is recovering from stomach surgery. Spanish newspaper El Pais said Castro has undergone three failed operations on his large intestine for diverticulitis, an inflamed bulge of the intestine, complicated by infection. But the Spanish doctor who treated the 80 year old has indicated that he is standing by his earlier prognosis that the Cuban leader is recovering from surgery.
