The alleged racial abuse of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty in a British TV show has created a furore across India. Celebrity Big Brother continues to be debated in India and Britain and Channel Four is standing by the reality TV show. Britain's Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell has also said she won't pull the plug on the show despite the controversy.
