details tonight in the rave that was raided in downtown albuquerque over the weekend. police are close to filing charges against the rave promoter, and the man who leased a building where police say more than 700 people were put in danger. jeff maher is live on central near 6th with our big story. jeff. city officials tell me the rave promoter kenneth pintor, and the tenant who leased the space, joe hernandez, are both facing minute thumbnail 05:00 pm charges that will be similar to what we saw in the club seven case. in that case, back in 2008 -- the club owner and promoters faced arges that included 17 counts of child abuse, after 570 people jammed inside the club that had a capacity of 299. friday night, police say pintor threw a rave at this building near 6th and central, where more than 700 people were packed inside, mostly teens -- some of whom were only wearing underwear. the fire marshal says the amount of people inside was way above the building's capacity -- which has not yet been determined yet. then on saturday night, hernandez threw a smaller party at that same building, and was cited for fire code violations and not having a permit. at a news conference today -- city officials expressed their concern over a high amount of raves being seen around town recently -- and they need help from parents of charges against pintor and hernandez within the next couple of days. live near 6th and central.
