A winter storm has hit Colorado –much to the delight of skiers at Durango Mountain Resort. But it's also leading to hazardous road conditions in southern Colorado. The the roads may be snowy but some, like Ron Raynor, are making the most of ski season. "It's amazing…it's a great snow," said Raynor. At least 41 inches of snow fell this week at Durango Mountain Resort and it's still coming down. The Colorado Department of Transportation is working hard to clear the roads for travelers, said spokesman Roger Padilla. "In fact the chain law went into effect 10 minutes ago and a plow should be coming along shortly," said Padilla. CDOT is asking everyone to drive slow when they're traveling through the mountains this weekend. Back on the slopes, Raynor isn't letting the tough roads put a damper on his fun. "Happy powder days and happy holidays."
