he 21-year-old accused of firing his gun inside unm hospital yesterday... tonight cesar dominguez-garcia's family is trying to tell his side of the story;... at the same time we have the surveillance video that shows what happened moments after the gun went off. eddie garcia is live in the newsroom with tonight's big story minute thumbnail 10:00 pm police have said, 21-year-old cesar dominguez-garcia was at u-n-m-h with his girlfriend... visiting the couple's 2-month old son inhe diatric unit. his girlfriend said dominguez- garcia fired the gun when her family tried to stop him from beating her. this is surveillance video of dominguez- garcia and several other people still going at it in the hallway. this video was recorded just moments after the shooting.... dominguez-garcia fights them off-- and police say he then ran out of the hospital... but dominguez- garcia's family is telling a slightly different story tonight... they say his girlfriend's family just started attacking him for breaking up with her and he was acting in self defense when he pulled the gun. that's why the brothers and the dad started beating on my brother because they were mad because my brother didn't want to be with her so they came and started beating on him. my brother did not choke her did not slap her.
