APS assistant could lose job over sexual allegations

-p-s leaders will decide tomorrow if a middle school educational assistant and volunteer basketball coach will keep his job. police say the 19-year-old man admitted to maki sexual advances toward a 14-year- old student. kayla anderson is live at aps headquarters with the latest. according to this criminal complaint 19-year-old tomas vargas admitted everything to police. but when we wanted him to tell us his side of the story today-- he bolted out of the courthouse. 19-year-old tomas vargas appeared in court this afternoon-- charged with attempted criminal sexual penetration and false imprisonment. out on bond and desperate to dodge our questions-- he ran away.
