to happen after this. some parents -- with 8 children--are being forced to move out of their new home after finding out they were victims of a scam. it's a story we've been following since it broke last night at ten. now only on 4... the family speaks to eddie garcia... giving us new details on exactly how this whole scam went down. minute thumbnail 10:00 pm eddie is live from the house near irving and unser with the story. joe, this family says they just moved in, they've only been living here for two weeks. now they have to pick up and move somewhere else - all because they were scammed into renting a foreclosed house. emilia munoz, her husband and 8 children thought they had found a beautiful new rental home - with an even more attractive rate. we got it off of craigslist. they immediately contacted who they thought was the owner. they met us here and they showed us the house, they told us they have other properties. that was two weeks ago - last night police knocked on their door and told them they were living in a foreclosed home - and the man who pretended to be the owner had scamd them. now they have to move out as soon as possible. i just think it's unfair because i have kids and there's other people who rent and have ki and people just don't have money to rent every other day. police are still looking for the scammer - but even if he's found emilia minute thumbnail 10:01 pm and her family are out hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
