APS school board discusses Atrisco Heritage overcrowding

a-p-s school board is hearing proposals to change up the schedules at one high school this fall. as kob eyewitness news first told you -- some students at atrisco heritage academy could be attending classes in the evening -- to help ease overcrowding. jeremy jojola is live at aps headquarters, with why that's not going over very well. jeremy. imagine going to school at eleven to get out at six at night. what about after-school sports for some minute thumbnail 05:00 pm students... what about jobs? those are questions being raised by students and parents of atrisco heritage high school in albuquerque's south valley. the problem -- construction won't be finished on some new buildings -- so schedules will have to be switched around. one idea is making students go to school at night.
