Home Depot to Hire 60,000 Seasonal Workers this Spring

Home Depot (HD) announced today that it will add more than 60,000 seasonal workers to help during this spring season, which is typically when it has the highest traffic of customers. Home Depot has said that it will fill the positions before its second annual Spring Black Friday promotion. The workers will be hired and are set to be trained in February and March, according to the company. The Atlanta company, which currently has more than 300,000 employees, also stated that it will add some permanent part-time and full-time jobs this year, but has not yet specified how many. Shares are down 0.43% to $37.42.
