LPL Investment Holdings Up Fractionally; Tops Street on Quar

LPL Investment Holdings Inc. (LPLA) is up fractionally, supported by stronger-than-expected quarterly results released yesterday after the market close.   Its shares are up 0.44% to $333.90 in mid-day trading.   The company reported $0.42 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the Thomson Reuters consensus estimate of $0.40. The company's quarterly revenue was up 11.6% on a year-over-year basis.
