Plane crashes in Angola

June 29, 2007

An Angolan Airlines plane crashed on landing, killing five people and injuring at least 66. The TAAG-Angola Airlines plane was en route from Luanda to M'Banza Congo, near Angola's northern border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. At least 78 passengers were on board. Among the dead were the municipal administrator of M'Banza Congo and a senior Roman Catholic priest from Italy.
