A theater renovation in Roswell suffers a setback after vandals go on a rampage. The group smashed theater lights, broke windows and even fired a gun several times while inside. It was the second time in less than a week that the future home of the Roswell Community Little Theater near Union and Hobbs has been targeted by vandals. The president of the Roswell Community Little Theater says the vandals smashed their way through a window sometime last week to get inside. "It was shock and anger of course, why would somebody come and do something so senseless," said Patti Stacy , president. Once inside they broke exit signs, more windows and even used light bulbs for target practice. "They were shooting off a weapon inside the auditorium; there are a lot of shell casings. They destroyed some of our furniture and there are bullet holes in the walls," explained Stacy. She says her organization will be patrolling the building more often.
