we continue to uncover details about a valencia county deputy who's facing serious charges. patrick duran is accused of humiliating a woman -- by making her pull down her underwear. jeff maher broke the story back in september. he's live in the newsroom with tonight's big story. i was able to confirm late tonight that patrick duran is a former state police officer. and he's not in jail right now either. but duran is facing two felony charges for what is detailed in this 6-page police report. back in september, we first told you about the allegations made against deputy patrick duran. now, he's been charged with extortion and false imprisonme. according to this police report, deputy duran came across a 20-year- old woman who was urinating on the side of highway 304 in socorro county while her boyfriend was in the car. it was around 2 a-m. the two had just left a house party in veguita, in valencia county. the woman told investigators that duran brought her to the back of his patrol car, and instructed her to pull down her pants and underwear. out of fear -- she did what she was told. according to the report - "she stated the officer then told her to bend further down. she stated that she then bent over further down as instructed." but before anything else happened, the girl's boyfriend jumped out of the car and yelled at the deputy to stop. the woman said deputy duran then allowed the two to leave. when interviewed by state police, duran denied ever being out in socorro county that night saying he was with his girlfriend. but his girlfriend told investigators that - "she fell asleep inside her bedroom alone at approximately 12:45am and she did not see deputy duran again until after 3:00am ." duran was issued a criminal summons. deputy duran has been on paid leave for several months. live in the newsroom. jeff maher. kob. eyewitness news 4. we looked up duran's record. somehow the deputy has managed to rack up five drunk driving charges since 2002.. it turns out, every one of those charges was dismissed. it's unclear if duran was a state police officer when he racked up those charges
