onight accused ponzi schemer doug vaughan's mansion has new owners.... it was sold today as part of his federal bankruptcy case crystal kobza has details on how this morning's auction played out. the winning bid for doug vaughans mansion here was 1.4 million dollars.. thats less then the 1.8 million the home was most recently valued at. the bidding started at 9 this morning... at the old federal courthouse at 5th and gold in downtown albuquerque. the winning bidder is gmc-- a local investment group. gmc was the only bidder in bankruptcy court.
