Atrisco Heritage schedules aim to fix overcrowding

it's a controversial idea--- staggering students' schedules to alleviate overcrowding at one high school for months -- parents at atrisco heritage academy have been wondering how that will work. tonight -- eddie garcia met with the principal to get an answer. eddie? the principal says it's been a long road but now they think they have the right answer to address this scheduling issue. these buildings under construction won't be finished in time for the new school year. the new schedule is in: most students will get out at 2:35, others who need more credits, will stay till 4:35 at the latest. athletics start at 2:35 for all students-- no matter what schedule they are . it's been an arduous process for atrisco staff. when the issue first came up--- parents were minute thumbnail 10:07 pm upset, and worried about the late schedules.
