developing news on the fire watch. right now crews are working to put out a fire threatening homes in torrance county. state forestry says the fire has already damaged two homes. joe vigil is live in torrance county with what crews are up against. the fire is about 3-4 miles behind ... we're just off highway 55. the fire is still burning but crews have a pretty good handle on it. lets take a look at some chopper video early on. strong winds quickly pushed this fire out of control about 2 miles east of tajique. the fire flared up around 2 this afternoon... and immediately threatened 4 or so.homes. and burned about 1-20 acres. authorities gave us a look behind the scenes. we saw a lot of charred grass...we even ran into some residents who grabbed shovels and started knocking down some hot spots. we also talked with a woman who says she was outside taking some laundry down when flames approached. the fire was just feet from home
