UK threat level "critical"
June 30, 2007
A four-wheel-drive vehicle rammed into Glasgow airport's main terminal and exploded in flames in what police described as an "attack". A Glasgow police spokeswoman said two people, described by witnesses as "Asian", were arrested following the incident. Britain has raised its national security rating to "critical", meaning another attack is expected imminently.
