4 held amid raised UK terror threat
July 01, 2007
Britain has raised the national terror threat level to "critical", meaning an attack is expected imminently. Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Sunday that rapid progress was being made in police inquiries after an attack on Glasgow airport and two failed car bombings in London. He also said that the security services and public would have to remain "constantly vigilant" against the long-term terrorist threat.
